1. About These Terms
Welcome to LifeWise, a free online learning platform offering courses in health, business, faith, technology, and personal development.
LifeWise is an initiative and is operated by Hope Channel Philippines, referred to in these Terms as “LifeWise,” “we,” “our,” or “us.”
These Terms govern your use of our website, learning services, and LifeWise mobile applications that link to these Terms.
Please read these Terms before registering. By indicating your acceptance during registration or another acceptance process, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use services requiring acceptance.

2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you are below the applicable age of legal capacity, a parent or legal guardian must approve your participation and accept these Terms on your behalf where permitted by law.
When creating an account, you agree to:
Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
Keep your password and login details confidential.
Use your own account and avoid sharing access with others.
Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Avoid impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity.
You are responsible for your own activity and for taking reasonable steps to protect your account. You are not automatically responsible for unauthorized activity beyond your reasonable control.

3. Free Courses
All LifeWise courses are offered free of charge. No payment card is required to enroll.
You are responsible for your own device, internet connection, mobile data, and other costs charged by your service providers.
Free enrollment does not guarantee that every course, feature, or learning resource will remain available indefinitely. Course availability is subject to the service provisions below.
We will not automatically convert your free enrollment into a paid subscription or charge you without your express agreement.

4. Learning and Course Completion
LifeWise provides opportunities for personal learning and growth. You are responsible for choosing suitable courses and completing their requirements.
You agree to submit your own work unless collaboration is expressly allowed. You must not impersonate another learner, falsify results, or misrepresent completion.
Where certificates or completion records are offered, they reflect the requirements stated for that course. Unless expressly identified otherwise, they are not academic degrees, professional licenses, government accreditation, or guarantees of employment.
Participation does not guarantee a particular health, financial, career, business, or personal outcome.

5. Educational Information and Professional Advice
LifeWise content is provided for general education. It does not establish a professional advisory relationship between you and LifeWise or an instructor.
Health and mental wellbeing
Courses do not replace individual medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or treatment from qualified professionals. Do not delay seeking professional care because of something you learn on LifeWise.
LifeWise is not an emergency or crisis-response service. If you need urgent help, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis service in your location.
Finance and business
Courses provide general information and do not constitute personalized investment, tax, legal, accounting, or other regulated advice. Consider your circumstances and consult an appropriately qualified adviser when needed.
Faith and personal development
Faith-related content reflects LifeWise’s Christian foundation. Learners of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome. Participation does not require religious affiliation, conversion, or subscription to ministry communications.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use LifeWise lawfully and respectfully.
You must not:
Harass, threaten, bully, or unlawfully discriminate against others.
Post abusive, exploitative, unlawful, or deliberately deceptive content.
Share another person’s private information without permission or another lawful basis.
Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with platform security.
Send spam, conduct scams, or use learner information for unsolicited marketing.
Copy, redistribute, or sell protected content without permission or a legal entitlement.
Use automated tools to extract personal information or bypass access restrictions.
Falsify reviews, assessment results, or credentials.
Respectful disagreement and constructive criticism are welcome. Moderation decisions should relate to conduct and applicable rules, rather than a learner’s religious identity or respectful viewpoint.

7. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
Course videos, text, illustrations, downloads, software, logos, and other materials belong to LifeWise or their respective rights holders.
Subject to these Terms, you receive limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to access materials for your personal learning. You may download materials where the platform expressly enables downloading.
Unless a resource carries a separate license or applicable law permits it, you must obtain permission before republishing, selling, distributing, or adapting it.
These restrictions do not prevent you from applying the skills and general knowledge you learn to your work, business, ministry, or everyday life.
Openly licensed and third-party materials remain subject to their stated licenses. Nothing in these Terms removes rights granted by applicable copyright exceptions.

8. Content You Submit
You retain ownership of original work, feedback, reviews, and other content you submit.
You grant LifeWise a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, format, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, deliver the feature you use, and provide learning support. We may allow service providers to process it for those purposes.
Public contributions may be visible to others. Private assignments and support messages are not made public merely because you submit them.
This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backup retention, legal requirements, and copies lawfully shared through the service before deletion.
We will seek separate permission before using your identifiable feedback, image, or submitted work in promotional testimonials.
You must have the rights or permissions needed to submit your content. We may remove content that violates these Terms, infringes rights, or creates a security or legal risk.

9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal information, including our use of Google Analytics.
Accepting these Terms does not automatically provide consent to optional analytics, marketing, ministry communications, or other processing requiring separate consent.

10. Third-Party Services
LifeWise may contain external links, embedded videos, or features provided by third parties.
Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. A link does not necessarily mean we endorse all of a third party’s content or practices.
We are not responsible for independently operated third-party services except to the extent applicable law makes us responsible.

11. Availability and Changes to Services
We aim to provide a reliable learning experience, but interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, security incidents, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, replace, or withdraw content for educational, licensing, operational, safety, or legal reasons.
Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of significant changes affecting enrolled learners and explain available options. Urgent security or legal changes may take effect immediately.
We do not promise uninterrupted access or permanent availability of a particular course.

12. Suspension and Account Closure
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, protect users, investigate unauthorized activity, or comply with law.
Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to respond or correct the issue. Immediate action may be necessary where notice would create a risk or is legally prohibited.
You may request a review of a restriction by emailing privacy@lifewise.asia with the subject line “Account Review Request.”
You may stop using LifeWise at any time. To request account deletion, email the same address with the subject line “LifeWise Account Deletion Request.” Personal information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

13. Responsibility and Liability
We aim to provide useful, reasonably accurate content, but information may become outdated or contain errors. Please report material inaccuracies so we can review them.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the platform will meet every individual need or produce a particular result.
Any exclusion or limitation of responsibility applies only where lawful. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability or right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
The fact that courses are free does not remove statutory rights or legal responsibilities.

14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, subject to mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence.
If a concern arises, please contact us so we can try to resolve it fairly. This does not prevent you from contacting a regulator, seeking urgent relief, or exercising any legal right.
Unresolved disputes may be brought before a court or other body with lawful jurisdiction. These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations.
We will publish the updated version with a revised effective date and provide reasonable advance notice of material changes where practicable. Changes will not retroactively remove rights relating to an existing dispute.
Where required, we will request your renewed acceptance before the changes apply to your continued use of account-based services.

16. General Provisions
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
A delay in enforcing a provision does not automatically waive our right to enforce it later.
Separate terms may apply to specific activities or features. We will present those terms before participation and explain any differences from these Terms.
